Manus has secured more than $500 million in a funding round led by Boyu Capital and IDG Capital, according to TechCrunch. The investment is the company’s first reported round since its split with Meta.
Existing shareholders Tencent, HSG — formerly known as Sequoia China — and ZhenFund also took part in the financing, alongside other investors.
The deal brings together several of China’s most prominent technology and venture capital backers around Manus at a consequential point in its corporate development. The participation of current shareholders indicates continued support following the separation from Meta.
For founders and investors tracking the global AI and software market, the round underlines the scale of capital available to Chinese technology companies with access to domestic strategic investors. Manus has not disclosed further details in the information provided, including its valuation or intended use of proceeds.
